Houdini Updates

The default Houdini products have been renamed for easier understanding, and there is a new Houdini hython product specifically to simplify the job of submitting python scripts that run in Houdini.

All of the Houdini products should correctly find the executables on all operating systems (when installed in the default location).

Mistika Workflows Product

A new product Mistika Workflows has been provided by the team behind the Mistika VR software.

Python API Updates

The Python API now includes a Qt based GUI submit window, and the DCC implementations for submitting from Blender, Nuke, and Maya are now included in the Python package. The Cinema 4D script is also updated, but still in the “Utilities” folder of the Smedge distribution.

Updated Python API documentation for the common part of the GUI is available on the Python API documentation page: https://www.uberware.net/support/python-api/.

There is also an INSTALL.md document in the Smedge distribution python folder with details for installing the DCC integration scripts.

Updated Build Environments

All build dependencies are updated to the current released versions. The Linux build environment has been updated to Rocky-8.

If you need support for a specific environment that cannot run the compiled version of Smedge, let us know and we can see about a custom build for that environment.
