PS: Look forward to playing with the 2011 alpha build and the memory distribution options. Nice. Probably won't get a gap to test it till January tho. :(
PPS: I understand the engine executable can add nodes to pools/configure the nodes, which I'll use for sure, but to create a new/rename/remove pools from pools.db would be the desired new feature for poolmanager in an ideal world. :)

Currently it does not yet. Certainly having it able to create/rename/delete pools is easy enough. Modifying the members of the Pool, as you noted, can be done currently with the Engine shell. I will try to get this into the next release.
