the large file transfer wich allows an copy of gigant MXI files step by step back to the data storage is a good feature but there is a more smarter way
enginge A B C D render to MXI
engine A finish and wait until another engine finish - lets say engine B
A send to B the mxi and B do the MXI merge of A+B=AB
in the meanwhile engine C do the same with engine D =CD
then engine B send MXI AB to engine C and C do the final merge of AB+CD
finaly the MXI is send to the data storage
that is the way as Maxwell and Fry do the merge and it is the most fastes way possible
Maxwell update 1.7 (and Fry) include AT LAST an .exe to do the merge via cmd line so i see no reason not to do so
what about ?

Will look into this. It will take a bit of work to implement, however, and will likely have to wait for the next release.
