We use Smedge in a teaching environment and often do not want to give users access to the Smedge administration tool because they end up deleting other users jobs or messing with the Engines. What would be great would be to have a GUI that we could install onto our Teaching PC's in which users can submit and manage their own jobs without affecting others or being able to change any Administrative settings.

You probably want to set up some of the SmedgeGui Restrictions. You can access the restrictions in the System > System Commands > Configure Master... dialog box. On the "Restrictions" tab, you can select what users will be allowed to do normally.
The restrictions you are probably most interested in are "My Jobs Only" and "Edit Engine". All of the restrictions are listed in the drop down box from the Configure Master dialog. Also, you can see which restrictions affect which SmedgeGui operations in the User Manual, in the menu reference for SmedgeGui.
