I've been running Smedge 2012 for several years. I just ran the Smedge 2016 Installer and it seems to have also uninstalled 2012, which I would assume erased the job history from that version. Is that correct? And can I get the job history back somehow?

When you run the installer on Windows, it upgrades in place, which means it removes the old program files and replaces them with the new files.

The installer does not touch your data, however, Smedge itself will update the data when it is read by a new version, which may make the data no longer able to be read by the older version. The only way to ensure data will not be changed is to make a copy or backup.

To have multiple versions installed at the same time, you can either use the installer and override the installation path, or you can use the archives (ZIP files) and download and unpack the archive wherever you want. You can find a list of all available download here:
