We are using Smedge to distribute our nuke renders. For the GUI licenses this works without a problem, but our render licenses are somehow not detected. All of our licenses are floating, and we are using the "interactive License" option.

solved!
i thought interactive licenses were floating licenses, but they are just GUI licenses.
Render licenses wont work if you check the "interactive License" option in Smedge

It's been a while since I looked at Nuke licensing, but if I remember right, you can choose to use a GUI license to render if you want, so that a workstation does not consume one of your render licenses.
