Hey Robin, we are reinstalling our SmedgeMaster after a disk crash, same machine, same OS.
I got this message when I launch SmedgeMaster from terminal:
Too many open files ( signaler.cpp:234 )
Aborted
So I can't enter my license number neither.
CENTOS 6.6 64bits / Smedge 2014.3
How can I fix that ?

Hi
It sounds like you need to up the max open file limit. Defaults for some OSes tend to be quite low, and Smedge uses a lot of network ports (which count towards the max open file limit) to handle the connections to all of the nodes, so it is probably running out.
The exact details of increasing the file limit vary by OS, distro and your user systems. Try increasing the max file limit for the machine and user account running the Master process to handle at least 4K open files and see if that helps.
