The only component of Smedge 3 that requires a license is the SmedgeEngine.
This is the application that runs on your Engine computers that actually performs the work.
You must purchase one license for every machine you would like to use as an Engine.
You can run the Master and any Shell programs on as many machines on your network as you wish.
Pricing depends on the number of Engines purchased:

All Licenses include 1 full year of unlimited technical support and upgrades.
Your license will last forever, but it will only run versions of Smedge that were released up to one year after the date of your last purchase.
Note that if you currently own licenses, those licenses will be included when determining the price for your additional Engines.
Also, if you currently own licenses, any additional licenses you purchase will be discounted by the prorated support cost for your current support contract.
