Notes: The installation package is very weak at this time. Make a directory for Smedge and unzip it's contents into that directory. You can make a shortcut to smedge in the Start menu or on the desktop if you want. For ease of use from the command line or Maya, you can either put Smedge in a folder already in your path, or add the Smedge folder to your path using the System Properties control panel.

To use the MEL scripts, move them to the scripts directory in your maya home directory. (e.g., c:\WinNT\Profiles\Robin\maya\3.0\scripts\).

To un-install, simply delete the entire Smedge directory and remove any shortcuts. You can delete the MEL scripts from your maya scripts directory. You can also remove Smedge's Registry settings. Look under the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Überware/ and remove the Smedge folder.

To use the smedgeRenderSession.mel script, you must either put Smedge into your path, or adjust the script to point to where you installed Smedge.
