smedge suddenly stopped being able to connect to the master. Or some can for a few seconds, then go stale. Others meanwhile cannot connect at all
The master is fine, it's IP address and everything are fine.
Telnet shows client and master getting each other's network hit.
All systems can each be pinged.
No internal software firewalls
No SElinux or extra security running
Happens regardless of platform Windows or Linux
Tried running smedge on a different server using the the trial license, same results
I've tried using an older version of Smedge, same results.
I've set up brand new fresh client and servers with smedge, and they can't connect to each other for more than a couple seconds
Our network admin is positive there is nothing abnormal about the network.
What else could be the issue? I've read all the documentation and have been using Smedge for over a decade. It suddenly started one afternoon

IPv6
it needs to be disabled. Linux sets it to "automatic" by default despite you having a static IPv4 IP address. Also a good idea to disable it in Windows network port's control panel
