Update a job after it has finished

I need to rename a job that had already finished. it was named incorrectly and is confusing to see it in the job queue. But since it has already finished there is no UPDATE AND CLOSE option, the only option is to to Submit it again.

The GUI will not let you change settings on jobs that are finished using the Job dialog box, but you can work around it in several ways.
1. In the GUI, select your jobs then use Job > Set Parameter...
2. In the dialog that opens, set the "Parameter Name" to Name
3. Set the "Parameter Value" to your new job name
4. Click OK
This will update just the name value for the job, and this command will work on jobs even if they are already finished.
It is also possible to do this with the Submit command line tool:
Submit Update Job-ID Name New-Job-Name
