Hi,
Just looking at Smedge as a render manager solution
Sorry, I know this is probably a silly question but is it possible to get Smedge to do a single frame render of a Maya Mentalray scene?
Often do hi-res images for billboards so it would be useful if we could submit a image to render and have it split into "tiles"for rendering over 5-6 computers.

Hi
Yes, it is possible to split single frame renders with Smedge. The details vary depending on the renderer you want to use and the image format your rendering. Some manual steps or one-time configuration may be needed for some pipelines.
Please contact if you have any questions about how to implement single frame rendering on your farm with Smedge, or if you run into any problems getting it to work. Thank you,
