Maya 2009 changed a bunch of things about the renderer internally. We are trying to get the new version up and running here so we can verify that it works correctly. None of the changes that they made should have affected Smedge operation. If you experience an issue, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can try to work it out.
I will post more on how it works once I get Maya 2009 running.
Thanks

Hi robin, do you know when it will be working with maya2009?
It's pretty urgent for us.
Thank you.

Maya 2009 should work OK with Smedge as is. If you have any issue with Maya 2009, please let me know and I will see what I can do to fix or work around it. I am still in the process of getting Maya 2009 running on my network (there have been some higher priority things that have been taking my time lately, but I have not forgotten about it).
Thanks
