Hi,
we have a problem with beta 5 edition of Smedge. It works in very strange way:
1. If installed on Linux machine - it doesn't see nuke files - so we cannot render nuke scenes (we are using Nuke 4.8 and Nuke 5)
2. If we are trying to render using 3delight, it simply doesn't work. Logs are saying that command renderdl wasn't found. But way to the renderdl file is defined correctly in the Smedge. Sometimes it shows that job is assigned to some of engine machines but nothing happens, rendering doesn't work!
3. If we are trying to render Maya scenes choosing all nodes to render - it has never happend that all of them rendered. Sometimes took job 3 nodes and sometimes 5 etc. And it happens with the same scenes.
4. Old engines that doesn't exists any more are still appears in the engine browser of smedge. It's not possible to delete them by way of old Smedge.
Please if you have any idea what is wrong please share it here or if you have the same problem let's write it here may be we will wait to see the resolt.
Thank you
