Update 2 is now officially released. Builds for Windows, Mac and Linux are all available for immediate download. The official final release fixes a last few little issues and adds a few last minute additions over the previous beta versions.
You can find the downloads on the Downloads pages as usual, or download directly from these links:
You can see the full list of changes here:

This is the most stable and best performing Smedge ever! We hope you enjoy it.

Quick question, I'm assuming there's been a couple of updates to this from the update 2 beta 14 build?
Cheers

Yes there were a few more changes between the b14 build and the final release. Mostly little tweaks to polish up some of the new features and fix some last small issues. This is a complete list. It may seem long, but most of these are tiny issues that affect only a very specific problem with most people may never even notice:
- Included the MachStudioPro virtual module
- Smedge did not always start correctly from a folder with a space in the name on a Mac
- OutputDlg copies to the clipboard with proper line breaks on Windows
- Conspectus display could get jumbled after re-connecting to the Master
- Cleaned up process startup on Linux to not leave extra processes open
- Added system to customize the Smedge "unique ID" for a machine (see SMEDGE_UNIQUE_ID environment variable in the Administrator Manual)
- Fixed XSI virtual module finding the executable
- Check File Sequences context menu did not work on Mac (though toolbar worked)
- Attempts to start processes would fail if the command line included a % character
- Added Aegis to menu and toolbar and standardized process startup for all processes to include command line parameters passed to SmedgeGui.
- Output windows highlight will go all the way across the window if the window is wider than the longest line of text
- Fixed problem starting as a service on Windows caused by change in how log messages are output.
- Logs were dumping extra debugging when the file was cleaned up.
- Job History messages could get scrambled
- Herald sound did not play correctly on Mac
- Engine work could be incorrectly marked as lost after an Engine reconnected with running work
- Possible hang displaying log messages to the console
- Possible SmedgeGui crash reconnecting to a Master with restrictions
- Improved Conspectus display
- Possible crash in Master mirrors extracting job finished time
- Workaround for bug in OS-X that can cause a crash trying to copy files
- Work list sorting was broken by changes made in the new build.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Just dropped this build onto the studio here, working like an absolute charm.
These last updates have made such an improvement to our working day with the farm now.
