You can use the "Generic Script" module to do "run once" type operations. If you do not supply a "Range to Process" for your generic script Job, it will execute the command you supply once on every Engine in the Pool to which that job is assigned. This gives you a very easy way to send a command, say an upgrade or copy operation one time to every Engine in a Pool.

I have pending feature requests to do machine operations, like rebooting, which I will be adding. Hopefully these will make it into Smedge 2011 somewhere.

Thanks

Offline Engines will run the script if it is still pending in the system when they come online. Once an Engine has run the script one time, it will not run it again, even if it is rebooted, or if the Master is restarted.
