I generated a license but when I paste it in the "submit license key window" my client keeps unlicensed. I'm on a MAC.
Any ideas?

Make sure that the Master ID shown in the Submit License dialog is the same as the Master ID you used to generate your license code on the web site. Also, make sure that your Master is running the same version (or a later version) than all of the client nodes. For example, if the Master is running Smedge 2010, it will not check out a license to a client running Smedge 2010 Update 1.
